Everything You Need to Know About Nanoblading

The newest Semi Permanent Makeup procedure for fuller looking brows.

Nanoblading

Get ready to embark on a journey to fuller, more fabulous brows with the lowdown on nanoblading—the secret sauce for those perfect arches you've been dreaming of!

Nano Blading:

Tired of playing the endless game of brow symmetry? Enter nanoblading, your ticket to ditching the daily brow routine woes. This magical procedure involves delicately etching ultra-fine, natural-looking lines onto your brows, mimicking the appearance of real brow hairs. And here's the kicker: instead of a swarm of needles, nanoblading employs just one, making it the ultimate game-changer!

How It Works:

Picture this: tiny, pixelated hair strokes meticulously crafted onto your brows, creating a symphony of natural beauty. With nanoblading, you get the most lifelike tattooed brows imaginable, with results that last and save you precious time on your daily makeup routine.

Nanoblading vs. Microblading:

While both techniques deliver jaw-dropping, realistic results, it's all about finding the perfect match for your skin type. Nanoblading's single-needle magic is ideal for oily, porous, sensitive, or mature skin, while microblading shines on normal, dry, and combination skin types.

At Dazzling Lash Beauty Bar, we always prefer nanoblading as there is less trauma on the skin with nano brows vs. microblading since you are not cutting into the skin.

Prep Talk:

Before diving into the world of nanoblading, a little prep can go a long way. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen, aspirin at least 24 hours prior to treatment. Tylenol OK. Do not sunbathe or tan the day of your procedure.

No waxing, tweezing or facials a week prior to treatment.  Prepare different pictures of eyebrows: ones you prefer and ones you do not. Pictures are a great way to show us what you want. Oh, and don't forget to catch some Z's and have a bite to eat before your appointment!  We always recommend a little snack and hydration afterwards as well.

The Process Unveiled:

Picture-perfect brows require patience and precision. Your nanoblading session kicks off with a personalized brow mapping session, followed by selecting the perfect pigment to complement your natural beauty. Then, it's time to get comfy as the magic unfolds!  Most of our clients fall asleep in our zero gravity beauty beds.

Need To Know:

Immediately after the process eyebrows will appear darker and more saturated, however, brows will fade 20-30%, leaving a very soft finish and shape.

Aftercare Essentials:

Keep the eyebrows area dry for the next 3 days. No sauna/no swimming pool for next 10 days. On day 4 start applying oil or aquaphor 2-3 times a day to moisturize the area. Do not pick the scabs.  On day 4 you can fully wash your face, no harsh rubbing, be gentle with eyebrow area until all the scabs come off.  Avoid tanning during healing process, or keep your face covered. Once the eyebrows completely heal apply sunblock while tanning. Once the eyebrows completely heal the color lightens up, the shape and outlines will soften. You should also avoid tanning beds, light therapy, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels for the next 30 days.

Longevity and Risks:

While nanoblading isn't forever, its results are sure to leave a lasting impression. With proper care and occasional touch-ups, your brows will stay naturally perfect for years to come.  We recommend doing the procedure every 2-3 years to keep them fresh.

And as for risks? Fear not—with a licensed pro and some TLC, you'll be flaunting flawless brows in no time!

As with any tattoo procedure, the canvas upon which nanoblading unfolds carries with it a set of potential risks to navigate.  While unlikely, it’s best to take precautions to avoid infection of the skin and the potential for blood-borne infections.  Choosing a licensed professional with the requisite training and experience is vital.  As well as arriving at your appointment with a meticulously cleansed skin, ensuring that the treatment area undergoes thorough sanitization under the practiced hands of your chosen tattoo artist.

While allergic reactions to  the pigments are rare.  This infrequent but plausible scenario manifests as a delayed reaction—typically emerging between 2-3 days post-procedure.  Should you have symptoms of a blistering, reddened, and pruritic rash surfacing at the site of treatment, please seek medical attention immediately.  This is why it is imperative to fill out your medical form honestly prior to your appointment.
